Reverend Dr. Dwight Riddick is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia. God calledhim to lead the Gethsemane Baptist Church in May, 1985, where he has serv ed for 23 years. He formerly served as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dendron, Virginia. Under his leadership, Gethsemane has grown tremendously. He has successfully led the church in a building project, the operation of a Learning and Child Care Center, and the establishment of a Christian School. The Church is about to embark upon a new building program, where it expects to raise a complex that will facilitate its ministry and community outreach programs.
